How I
Think

01 — The Swiss Army Knife

The Scientific Method
Applied

Question → Test → Iterate

The scientific method is how we learn. In science and in business, the framework is identical. The dial just turns differently.

The number one mistake is starting too big. Keep it small. Build with customers in the loop. Learn from what they tell you. Go again. The more you run the loop with intention, the tighter everything gets.

02 — The Outcome Equation

Outcomes =
Decisions + Luck

Outcomes = Decisions + Luck

Two things determine outcomes: decision quality and luck. You control the first. You influence the second by expanding your surface area for it through preparation and alignment.

A bad outcome from a good decision is still a good decision. Most people never learn to tell the difference. One result doesn't define the process. Trust it.

03 — The Alignment Principle

Velocity = Speed
+ Direction

Velocity = Speed + Direction

You hear it everywhere: move fast. Speed is celebrated. What it leaves out is direction.

Speed without it is just people running into each other. The hardest job of a leader isn't pace, it's alignment. Get everyone pointed at the same target at the same time, and speed takes care of itself.

How I
Work

The operator side is the credential. Ten years running a company: every function owned, every mistake made. The investing is an extension of that experience, not separate from it. Both sides sharpen each other by design, and both are intentionally developed.

01 Leadership

Velocity = Speed + Direction. The hardest job is alignment, not pace.

02 Strategy

Decisions + Luck. What you control, what you don't, and how to separate them.

03 People
Operations

Scaling teams. Culture at scale. The work that makes companies actually work.

04 Growth
+ GTM

Go-to-market, content, customer development. Finding surface area and using it.

05 Operator
Mindset

Scientific rigor. Naive optimism. The mental models underneath all of it.

06 Board
Work

Both sides of the boardroom. What great boards do that most boards never figure out.
